Rotating View of Vertical Polarization
Here is a rotating perspective on the uniform plane wave with vertical polarization.  The dark arrows represent the electric field and the light arrows represent the magnetic field.  The larger arrow represents the direction of propagation.
Notes:
  • This is a fairly complicated animation.  If you wish to "take a break" from the 3D, close one of your eyes while wearing the anaglyph glasses.  A flattened perspective drawing of the fields should emerge.
  • Throughout the rotation, note how all arrow types -- E-field, H-field, and direction of propagation -- remain mutually perpendicular to one another.
  • It also helps to focus your eyes on one point (pair of E and H field arrows) as the perspective rotates.
