Ka-band Satellite antenna and TWTA

Ka-band technology is still young but is ready to be deployed. Below is an image of a Ka-band antenna that could be used for deep space missions using Ka-band downlink frequency. The traveling wave tube amplifier is fed directly to the antenna and can generate a maximum power of 35W.
