Two cups and a string

Tech trolley on its way to Tech Square at Georgia Tech Campus

ABOUT US

Two Cups and a String is a group of Graduate students in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Georgia Tech, Atlanta.

Why Two Cups and a String?

The name Two Cups and a String was jokingly suggested by Napol, but by the end of the meeting, it sounded like a good idea. The logo was designed by Luis Miguel, and it shows two cups, one at the earth, and the other at the moon, connected by a (very long) string. It symbolizes the long way that we have come from the basic form of telecommunication (using two cups and a string) to the present HD video stream from the Moon from a rover!
