One Step Closer to Tomorrow

MASA’s Exoplanetary Mission

Overview

For eons mankind has looked to the stars and wondered what is out there.  Now with advances in technology, it may be possible to find out more than can be guessed from telescopes.  Although it will take several millennia to gather this data, MASA (in partnership with NASA) has been able to design a satellite probe that will travel to the nearest star system believed to have planets, in the hopes of finding out more.

In order to achieve this, MASA has studied the best cutting edge technology and laid out a plan.  The satellite will be constructed in orbit and launched towards the Epsilon Eridani star system.  After many millennia, the nuclear reactor onboard will be activated and Fortuna I will begin transmitting data back to Earth.  Hopefully, this mission will confirm the existence and size of the exoplanets in the Epsilon Eridani system.
