Welcome!

For over 20 years, the Epsilon Eridani star system has been observed in searching for extraterrestrial intelligence and exoplanets. It the nearest extrasolar system with probable exoplanets. By the end of year 2010, two possible planets have been suggested to orbit around the star. However, the claim of exoplanets still remains controversial and ultimately unconfirmed.

Recently, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) awarded our university laboratory a grant to perform a paper study design on a potential mission to Epsilon Eridani. To uncover the mystery of Epsilon Eridani, a spacecraft is designed to be sent to the star system and transmit high-resolution images of the star system back to earth.

Using this grant, we have gathered scientists and engineers from around the world and formed the team INASA. After careful and extensive investigation, INASA has proposed to send a
spacecraft to Epsilon Eridani to transmit images from Epsilon Eridani back to the earth. This website provides a complete description of the design of the satellite, including components of power, propulsion, communication, antenna design, schedule, and budget.
