Solving Laplace's Equation for Electrostatic Voltage

This tutorial provides discussions, examples, and computer code for solving the discrete form of Laplace's equation for electrostatic voltage.  This is usually a 3025 student's first foray into the vast field of numerical electromagnetics.  Since most of the realistic problems in electromagnetics are too complicated to either solve analytically or to measure empirically, numerical techniques are one of the most powerful tools in the engineer's design arsenal.
