Resiliency - Seismometer (page 1 of 3)
Design:
We select a high-temperature
seismometer currently in
development by Inprox Technologies for NASA (1). The proposed system
will have a frequency range of 1-30
Hz and operate at 500°C for at least 90
days. Additionally, the sensor in development will utilize low
frequency
wireless to transmit collected data, however we plan to utilize wired
communication and will not need to wait for the high-temperature
wireless technology
to be fully developed.
