The Crazy Lune |
---|
Home The Crazy Lune is a design engineering team formed to design a Lunar Positioning System for astronauts on moon walks. The radiolocation system uses RFID tags strewn across the lunar landscape in conjunction with a sophisticated location algorithm that accurately determines the astronauts' position relative to the lander in order to assist the astronauts in navigating the foreign terrain. The communication link is designed to maximize the bidirectional data rate transfer between the lander and astronaut. Overall the Crazy Lune provides a cost effective radiolocation and communication system solution. |
