The restriction for designing the pulse is that digital PAM chip sets are incapable of generating
pulses with a large time supportmore therefore in order to get cheap receivers/transmitters, the
time pulse is limited to 4Tb.
We use a Raised Cosine shape:

The following parameters were used for best fitting the frequency band [2.050GHz-2.150GHz]:

  • Maximum frequency = 25MHz
  • k = 0.93
  • Carrier frequency: f0 = 2.06GHz
 
     
 

Baseband Signal

The time supported of the pulse is limited to 4Tb.
