Steady-State Sinusoids on Transmission Lines

In class we studied the effects of transmission line reflections on transmission lines with steady-state, sinusoidal excitation.  The reflections on these lines creates a mixture of standing waves and traveling waves, whose properties depend on the load characteristics.

Below are several video clips of transmission lines in action.  Click on the icons to explore the electrical properties of each.
