  Error Correcting Code  
     
  The major challenge for satellite communcications is path loss and the main constraint is power.
In order to limit the required transmitting power, a (1/3) Turbo Code is used. Turbo code allows the system to approach Shannon limit, therefore it can be expected to communication
reliably without using a large amount of power. Turbo encoders are usually designed with two
convolutional encoders in parallel as following:
