Sensor Deployment
The VIRGILs will be deployed from a 'mothership' capsule. The capsule can be seen in figure 7. There will be two of these launched from earth.

Once in the Venusian atmosphere, a parachute will deploy as seen in figure 8.

Once at an appropriate altitude, the VIRGILs will then parachute out of the mothership as seen in Figure 9.
