Timeline

The timeline is shown in the following table. We will develop an engineering model (EM) 1 set, qualifying model (QM) 1 set and flight model (FM) 2 set. The goal of the engineering model is to perform prototype tests and functional tests for new technologies to check the technology feasibility for a space mission application. In this phase, the cooling technology (GPHS), parachuting technology in high temperature, antenna steering technology and light weight antenna technology will be tested. In QM phase, the main goal is for space qualifying. Thus, we will perform qualifying tests about the subsystem level and system level. The tests include vibration, shock, acoustic test, thermal vacuum test, and EMI/EMC test. After that, we will develop the actual flight model. The flight model is 2 set. One is for an actual flight, the other set is for backup. Our mission is for 2 years, one year and half is for the Venus mission and six month is for final analysis.
